The nation's favourite dim-witted interviewer was given her first show this evening (May 11) - as she tackled the Bard.

The idiotic Philomena Cunk (Diane Morgan) is best-known as a talking head on Charlie Brooker's Newswipe, as well as host of Moments of Wonder.

BBC Two's Cunk on Shakespeare saw her explore everything from iambic pent-a-meter to why Richard III ended up in a car park in Leicester.

Of course, folks on Twitter were watching along to follow Cunk's hilarious observations.
