The Mail on Sunday reported that the Scottish star is set for a high-profile move to the BBC - claiming she had not signed a new contract with ITV after her daytime TV show was reduced to just 30 minute episodes and cut from 52 weeks a year to 30, despite Good Morning Britain being given a longer slot running until 9.30am and This Morning keeping the 10am to 12.30pm slot.

The presenter was said to be unhappy with the drastic cuts, which saw members of her team lose their jobs as it is still Lorraine which gets the highest ratings, and has reportedly been having talks with BBC bosses who are eager to sign her for "a number of potential projects".
