Sherlock has won the Radio Times Audience Award at tonight's House of Fraser BAFTA TV Awards in London.

The BBC drama's co-creator Steven Moffatt and star Amanda Abbington joined Sue Vertue, Beryl Vertue and others to accept the award at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane.

Moffat also announced this evening that Sherlock series four is shooting in spring 2016.

Before the fourth series hits screens, fans can look forward to a one-off Sherlock Victorian special which will air later in 2015.

The 90-minute special will be completely separate from other episodes, with Moffat describing it as "its own little bubble".
