Wright went on to share his excitement at being reunited with his wife Michelle Keegan, and thanked his friends in Vegas for their hospitality.

"On my way home to see the wife," he said. "Now it's home time for Christmas. Can't wait to see my loved ones. Until next time, Vegas. Peace out."

He also shared an Instagram post by his boss Steve Weiser, the Las Vegas Bureau Chief at Extra TV, which featured several images of his unexpected trip to the hospital.

"Another @f1lasvegas in the books and this one left its mark," the caption read. "Nothing was going to stop this guy from delivering the goods for @extratv and @vegas. Not even a visit to the ER and 30+ stitches."

The show will also feature a line-up of experts, including an extreme cleaner, a carpenter and TV builder Tommy Walsh.

"I can't wait to help people get their living spaces back in order. We're currently looking for people to take part," Wright said on Instagram. "We could really help make a difference, trust me."
