Cold Call, starring former Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay, has just been added to Netflix (November 18).
The four-part series first aired on Channel 5 in 2019, and also stars Taj Atwal (Death in Paradise) and Daniel Ryan (of ITV's The Bay).
It tells the story of a single mother named June Clarke (played by Lindsay) who becomes the victim of a cold-call fraud which results in her losing her home. Clarke is then spurred on to find those responsible, in what becomes a tense revenge story, while also desperately trying to salvage her family's future.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy ahead of the show's release five years ago, Lindsay reflected on how "detailed" the drama felt when it came to its portrayal of scamming.
"It's happening to very, very normal people all the time and we've not really seen it on screens," she said.
"I think we're all very normal characters and I think you could see any of us in any day, in any workplace, in any shop," Lindsay went on to say. "That's what the shocking thing is. This very extraordinary thing happening to these very normal people."

"In a way, this woman, constantly all her life, has done the right thing," the actor explained. "She's been an amazing carer, an amazing mum. She's had nothing. No help. Done it herself and she thinks if I just do everything right in my life, everything will be fine, and it's not."
"So it's literally just a tipping point. She's had enough and she turns and it's amazing how she finds the inner strength to do what she does, and the darkness of how far she'll go."
Cold Call aired on Channel 5 and is now on Netflix.
