Peaky Blinders star Sam Neill's crime series The Twelve has been renewed for a third season.
The Australian drama, which has been acquired by ITV, centres around 12 jurors who grapple with their duty to deliver a verdict, while also navigating their own personal challenges.
Neill will return as barrister Brett Colby for the third instalment, which focuses on a cold case murder trial in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. The state's Parliament House and ABC Studios are among the new settings for season three (via Variety).
The season will be made up of eight one-hour episodes, written by Sarah L Walker, Matt Cameron, Mia Lethbridge, Adele Vuko and Sam Meikle.

Madeleine Gottlieb and Mark Joffe are on board to direct, with casting by Kirsty McGregor and Will Pearce.

Neill will next be seen in limited series Apples Never Fall, which lands on BBC iPlayer on September 21 after premiering on Peacock earlier this year.
Based on Liane Moriarty's bestselling novel of the same name, the drama follows the story of the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family, whose façade is threatened when a stranger enters their lives.
The cast also includes Nyad actor Annette Bening, The White Lotus star Jake Lacy and Community's Alison Brie.
The Twelve seasons 1-2 are available to stream now on ITVX. Season 3 doesn't have a release date yet.
