Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has signed up for a new BBC role.
The legendary actor will be leading the 10-part BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds audio drama series Central Intelligence, inspired by the true story of the formation of America's CIA.
Cattrall will be playing early CIA recruit Eloise Page as she rises to become one of the most powerful and influential women in the agency.
Central Intelligence's voice cast includes four-time Oscar nominee Ed Harris (Westworld) as future CIA director Allen Dulles and Johnny Flynn (Ripley) as his successor Richard Helms. Geoffrey Arend (Physical) and Rob Benedict (Supernatural) also star.

Along the way, Eloise shows listeners how she was able to break the mold of the intelligence industry hierarchy, which was traditionally run by the 'male, pale and Yale’ at the time.
"I was pleased to be asked to join BBC Radio 4’s Central Intelligence," Cattrall said. "A very well-written, factual and entertaining history of the Central Intelligence Agency from its uncertain inception. A human story full of false starts, gaffs, blunders, and thankfully triumphs on the world stage.
"A thrilling story of Russian Roulette. I was engrossed learning the true story of how this vital agency grew and prospered before and during the Cold War."

Alison Hindell, BBC Radio 4’s commissioning editor for Drama and Fiction, has promised that Central Intelligence listeners are in for "a treat".
"It’s so exciting to have world-class casting of this calibre to complement the bold ambition of this powerful drama serial," Hindell said. "Audio drama is unique in the way it transports us to different places and times, and this ambitious series will give an intimate insider’s view of some of the most remarkable events of the last century."
Central Intelligence will premiere on September 13, 2024, on Radio 4’s Limelight podcast feed.
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on Max in the US and Sky Comedy and NOW in the UK.
