Outnumbered favourite Hugh Dennis has teased a "different" kind of Christmas special this year.
Much to the delight of fans, the improvisational BBC sitcom was confirmed to be returning eight years since its last festive special this month, with Dennis, Claire Skinner, Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez reprising the Brockman clan.
Previewing what we can expect during his appearance on Good Morning Britain, Pete Brockman star Dennis began by revealing to hosts Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins that production will get underway in November.

"It's great that it's coming back," he said.
"We are doing this 40-minute special but we don't really know anything about it. We've read in the paper that we've got a grandchild but we don't know whose kid it is."

The actor, who cameoed in Daniel Craig's last-ever Bond movie No Time to Die as Dr Hardy, went on to share how everyone was looking forward to the reunion.
"It's going to be strange isn't it because I don't think we live together anymore as a family. There's lots of different stuff to reflect and one of the great things about the show was to reflect life as it actually was."
The episode's official synopsis teases: "In a moment of adversity, Sue and Pete gather all their offspring (including one grandchild) to try and celebrate a traditional family Christmas.
"But fate, neighbours, hyenas and bus replacement services get in their way."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 & ITVX, while Outnumbered will return to BBC One this Christmas.
