Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are now married, with Jake's father Jon Bon Jovi confirming that they tied the knot in a “small ceremony.”

The pair have been in a relationship for the past three years, subsequently announcing their engagement in April 2023.

With news of their marriage circulating online, Jon confirmed during an appearance on The One Show that the young couple had wed, saying it was a close-knit event.

“They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic,” said the Bon Jovi frontman in an interview with Lauren Laverne and Roman Kemp. “It was a very small family wedding. The bride looked gorgeous and Jake is as happy as can be. Yeah it’s true.”

One famous face who presumably was at the ceremony was Matthew Modine, since Brown’s Stranger Things co-star had previously announced that he was set to officiate at the couple’s wedding, saying he was honoured by the offer.

“I have one of the licences to get people married and Millie thought it'd be great and Jake [Bongiovi] said it'd be a great idea,” said Modine. “So I wrote the wedding vows, and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and become husband and wife.

“I've done it one time before, during COVID in upstate New York. It was an outdoor wedding and it was weird, but it's such a beautiful thing to be able to join two people in holy matrimony. I've been married 44 years, it's amazing when it works.”
