Bridgerton season 3 isn't out just yet, but fans are already speculating about which one of the siblings will have their own romance in the fourth chapter of the Regency show.

While all eyes seem to be on the reluctant Eloise Bridgerton, played by Claudia Jessie, the star remained tightlipped in an exclusive chat with Digital Spy.

"If ever that happens, I've had a good old run up," Jessie said, looking at the big love stories the show has portrayed so far.

"So I feel like it's the people that have come before that have shown us all how to do it," she continued, citing her co-stars.

"Phoebe [Dynevor] took it on really beautifully. She did such an incredible job kicking off this show," Jessie said looking back on season 1.

"And Johnny [Jonathan Bailey] and Simone [Ashley] and obviously Regé [Regé-Jean Page] from season one as well and then Nicola [Coughlan] and Luke [Newton]," she added.

An adaptation of the novel series by author Julia Quinn, Bridgerton follows the titular family as the elder siblings enter the marriage market in 1820s London, supported by their mother Violet (Ruth Gemmell).

Season three, whose first part is set to premiere on May 16, will focus on the third Bridgerton child, Colin (Newton), and his slow burn romance with neighbour and confidante Penelope Featherington (Coughlan). As in previous seasons, the show will also include storylines concerning other characters, namely a falling out between Eloise and her former best friend Pen after she discovered her identity as Lady Whistledown.

"More than anything as well, this show is an ensemble piece filled with so many people," confirmed Jessie.

"So I really feel like each season everyone gets an opportunity to shine anyway. But yeah, I feel grateful for the run-up really, but I won't tell you anything. Because I don't know. I don't actually know the answer."

Last season, Eloise developed a mutual crush on Theo Sharpe (Calam Lynch) after meeting him at the print shop during her search for Lady Whistledown's identity. Their different social classes proved to be problematic and ultimately led them to fall out, but could this relationship be revisited in the upcoming seasons?

Bridgerton season 3 premieres in two parts, on May 16 and June 13. Seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
