The 2024 NBA Finals are officially in the record books, with the Boston Celtics soundly defeating the Dallas Mavericks.
But while basketball fans may be feeling blue about the season being over, it's still an exciting time for the NBA, with the 2024 Draft just around the corner.
The NBA Draft action officially starts on June 26. We've got the full lowdown on how you can watch every second of the draft in the UK and the US.
NBA schedule and playoffs results – Eastern and Western Conference finals 2023-24
The best place to find dates, times and venues next season is the NBA's scheduling hub, where you can also see where each game is being broadcast on TV locally or nationally in the US.
The scheduling hub has a handy guide to US radio coverage for each game, so if you're on the go during tip-off, you won't have to miss a single drive to the hoop on your commute.
What to Read Next
If you're in the US, it's worth checking back regularly, as you'll be able to clarify whether a local game is being blacked out in your area.
Archived Eastern and Western Conference playoff bracketing is still available through the NBA's dedicated portal. All results shown below are updated as of Tuesday, June 18.
The Eastern Conference Finals concluded with the Boston Celtics clinching the title after sweeping the Indiana Pacers in four games, then the Celtics went on to win the NBA Finals. This was the Celtics' 23rd NBA Finals appearance and their 18th Finals win.
Out West, the Dallas Mavericks took the Conference Championship by winning their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves by four games to one. The Mavs last competed in the NBA Finals in 2011.
In addition to the NBA Finals action, LeBron James is fielding questions about his NBA future after the Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.
NBA Finals results and NBA Draft dates 2024
The NBA Finals started on June 7 (or June 6 in the US). In this series, the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks played each other five times, with the Celtics winning the series, four games to one, and thus becoming the league championships for this year.
In Game One, the Celtics got off to a successful start by topping the Mavericks at TD Garden in Boston to go up 1-0 in the NBA Finals, with a final score of 107-89.
On Monday, June 10, the Boston Celtics went up 2-0 in their series against the Dallas Mavericks at TD Garden, this time winning the game at 105-98.
A shift of venue to the American Airlines Center in Dallas helped the Mavs get more competitive with the Celtics in Game 3 on Thursday, June 13, as Dallas whittled away a strong early lead by the Celtics.
However, Boston rebounded in the later stages of the game to go up 3-0 in the series against Dallas, after defeating them 106-99 in Game 3.
Dallas were back in contention in Game 4 (June 15) with a 122-84 victory, before the Celtics put them away with a 106-88 victory to clinch the title at home at TD Garden on Tuesday (June 18).
With the Finals now done and dusted, the NBA Draft is less than a week away, starting on June 26 with the First Round and June 27 for the Second Round.
The Barclays Center in Brooklyn will host the first night of the draft, with the coverage moving to ESPN's Manhattan studios for Night 2.
The Atlanta Hawks have the first overall pick, to be followed by the Washington Wizards in second position and the Brooklyn Nets trading their third-place pick to the Houston Rockets.
Fans in Europe may want to mark their calendars now because next season's NBA Paris games have already been scheduled for January 23, 2025, and January 25, 2025 – pitting the San Antonio Spurs against the Indiana Pacers.
