Squid Game season 2 pictures reveal a surprising transformation for Seong Gi-hun.

Uploaded to Netflix's X account, a new gallery shows Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae), Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), Recruiter (Gong Yoo) and a newcomer (Park Gyu-young) in action.

And Gi-hun's hair is black, which was how he began the show before he dyed it red after winning the cash.

"I will find you, no matter what it takes," Gi-hun promises, before hanging up and leaving the airport.

New cast members for the second season include It's Okay Not to Be Okay's Park Gyu-young, singer Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, and Itaewon Class' Lee David.

Meanwhile, spin-off reality show Squid Game: The Challenge, has also been confirmed to be coming back for a second season.

"One of the things that will make it better is just allowing ourselves a deliberate pause and the chance to take in some of that viewer response before we go again," suggested executive producer John Hay.

"I think that's really important — it doesn't do brilliantly to rush back into it. I think it would benefit from a period of mulling and considering that before we move ahead."

Squid Game and its unscripted spin-off Squid Game: The Challenge are both streaming now on Netflix. A second season of each show has been confirmed.
