The fifth episode in the series saw Silva discover Wes Harper had possession of a first-person recording of the attack, putting her on high alert that Harper was responsible for the attack itself. When she confronted him, however, he tasered her, and locked her in the base.

Silva freed herself and managed to track Harper down to find him destroying data that linked him to the attack. A hitman then broke into the office only for Silva to kill him and send his photo to Detective Sergeant Kirsten Longacre (Rose Leslie).

Harper convinced Silva that he didn't carry out the attack and warned her that British Intelligence services sent the assassin. Silva then hopped on a plane with Eliza Russell, the commander of a British air force base in the Middle East, to escort Harper back to the UK.

A few moments after take off, however, Harper went to use the toilet only for two gunshots to sound. Silva then uncovered two pairs of slumped feet – one in an army uniform, but just as she saw the faces of the two people, the tense episode ended on a cliffhanger.
