Louis Theroux has posted an update on his struggles with alopecia.
The interviewer and broadcaster posted a montage of himself trying to raise his eyebrows on Instagram, as he said that he was considering getting them tattooed amid the condition, which causes hair loss.
"I’d like to know how I’m supposed to continue a career based largely on raising and lowering different eyebrows WITHOUT ANY EYEBROWS!!" Theroux wrote.

"#Alopecia I’m seriously thinking of getting them tattooed back on but it feels like a big step! Thoughts?"
The star has since received many replies in the comments, with comedian Rob Delaney touching upon his own experience with the condition as he said there was "no right answer in [his] opinion".

Theroux has previously touched upon his experiences, writing on Instagram in August: "Alopecia update (try to remain calm!): new bald patches are appearing in my 'top hair' (the hair on top of my head) BUT I can now grow a weird straggly and rather sparse white beard.
"So that’s something. And there are some tiny patches of regrowth on my eyebrow. FWIW I’ve been taking vitamin D, iron, and something called biotin. Is it helping? Who knows?"
Theroux is currently in the middle of his latest Interviews series on BBC Two, which began earlier this month.
Across the series, the broadcaster is chatting with the likes of heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua, Top Boy's Ashley Walters, actress Joan Collins, Libertines star Pete Doherty, activist Chelsea Manning, and musician Raye.
