Industry season two finale spoilers follow.
Industry bosses Mickey Down and Konrad Kay have broken down the shocking final episode of season two of the finance drama.
Created by former finance employees Down and Kay, Industry follows Myha'la Herrold's Harper Stern as she navigates the cutthroat world of banking.
We repeat: spoilers ahead for UK audiences and anyone who hasn't watched the season two finale.
Industry explores themes of race, class, gender and privilege and the season 2 finale saw Harper being fired by Ken Leung's Eric Tao after he told higher ups at Pierpoint that her diploma was forged.

"Eric fed them that information. He was the person in the conception of the show that was hiding this secret for her, and he's now turned the secret back on her," revealed Down.
After witnessing Harper's decisions to double-cross Danny Van Deventer (Alex Alomar Akpobome) and Rishi Ramdani (Sagar Radia), Eric decided to turn her in.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly the showrunners opened up about Eric's motivations in firing Harper.

"His motivations are intentionally ambiguous," explained Down. "From one perspective, you could say that he has been planning this since episode three and certainly since he accepted the idea of leaving Pierpoint with her.
"The other takeaway is that he is in some way saving her from herself, because in the finale there's a number of things Harper does, which Eric is witness to, that he feels is beyond the pale.
"There's an idea that he actually uses this relatively minor indiscretion of forging her transcript to get her out of the industry," he said.
On the shocking ending, Kay added: "We wanted season 2 to have a very definitive ending, so Harper and Eric feels like a full stop rather than a dash. We have no idea if we're gonna get a third season."
