The Crown star Lesley Manville has shared an exciting update on the Netflix show's sixth and final season.
The actress – who takes over the role of Princess Margaret in the upcoming fifth season – revealed that they are about to start filming the last episodes.
"Yes, we're about to start," she said on The One Show this week. "It's great, it's a fantastic series to work on. Every department is people at their best – costumes, hair and make-up, writing, directors, actors. It's a fantastic series to be involved in."

It comes after the show confirmed that they had cast Prince William and Kate Middleton for season 6, with Rufus Kampa portraying the royal aged 15 in the series, around the time of the death of his mother Diana, then with Ed McVey taking over for his late teens and early adult years.
Meanwhile, Meg Bellamy will play the role of Middleton, with later episodes showing how she and William met in 2001 at the University of St Andrews.
Also making an unexpected appearance in season 6 is Loose Women's Kelly Brook, who has revealed that a picture of her is set to feature on the show.

"I got an email from my agent. She said: 'We have had a picture clearance request for one of your images to be used on The Crown season six. It would be printed as a poster and it would be put in one of the character's dressing rooms,'" she told the Daily Star.
Alongside Manville, season 5 will see Imelda Staunton take over as Queen Elizabeth II, while Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Philip, Dominic West will portray Prince Charles and Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana.
The Crown season 5 will premiere in November 2022, while seasons 1-4 are now streaming on Netflix. Seasons 1-3 are also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
