James May has teased the return of the Top Gear gang in an upcoming special of The Grand Tour.
May will reunite with Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson for an escapade in Norway as a part of their Arctic Circle series.
The presenter has shared a few details about the special, explaining it will be more "serious" than previous episodes and adding that it will also focus more on cars, the trio's area of expertise.

"I can't give too much away but the next one is interesting because it is actually quite heavy on cars," May told Radio Times.
"We've got three, very interesting cars in it and quite a lot of stuff. I don't want to put you off by saying this, but it is actually a car show the next one," he added.
"Somebody said some of our specials are a bit like a travel show crossed with a sitcom, I think, and the cars are just there almost as an excuse or to provide comedy, but this one, the one coming up in Scandinavia is quite a serious car wars film just warning you."
May also said he was glad he and his co-stars had the chance to be in their element for this Scandinavian special.

"It was quite nice given that that's that's what our backgrounds are and it's quite healthy for us to do occasionally," he continued.
"Because although we do a lot of mucking about, it's quite nice to occasionally be able to say to the audience, 'Look, we do actually know what we're talking about. And then it's quite nice to indulge that occasionally.'"
May is currently starring in the travel series James May: Our Man in Italy and has recently discussed his desire to slow down, hinting at his possible retirement.
"I don't know if it's because I had a nice time in Italy, or because I'm getting older, or because I'm sick of admin," he said.
The Grand Tour will return with a new season on Prime Video later this year. James May: Our Man in Italy is streaming on the same platform.
