Channel 4 has announced it is celebrating Pride this year with a special broadcast helmed by comedian Joe Lycett.
Marking 50 years of Pride in the UK, the comedy star is hosting an LGBTQ+ party live from his hometown of Birmingham.
Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party will be a two-hour broadcast honouring Pride and is set to feature a wide range of famous faces.

Hollywood actor and director Rupert Everett will be joining Lycett as a celebrity guest at the star-studded event.
Doctor Who newcomer Yasmin Finney will also be attending the party alongside her Heartstopper co-star Joe Locke.

Also joining the fun will be RuPaul's Drag Race UK queens Tia Kofi and Tayce, It's a Sin actor Olly Alexander and comedian Mawaan Rizwan.

The celebratory broadcast is also set to feature some musical performances from Boy George and Culture Club, Steps and Self Esteem.
During the broadcast, Channel 4 will be counting down the Top 10 LGBTQ+ TV moments with an audience of icons, allies and local heroes sharing their own personal stories of Pride.
Louisa Compton, who is overseeing Channel 4's Pride season, commented: "As a broadcaster who has proudly championed LGBTQ+ programming for 40 years, we are delighted to be marking the climax of our Pride at 50 season with Joe Lycett's loud and proud celebration live from his Birmingham hometown.

"This isn't just any party – it's a Pride party with purpose - and whilst we'll be celebrating all that's been achieved, we'll also be calling out where progress has stalled across the world."
"Watch out for some very noisy and exciting stunts," she added.
Meanwhile, Lycett joked: "As a straight white man who works in scaffolding, I'm not quite sure why I've been asked to host this????"
Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party will air this summer on Channel 4.
