Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka has said she would be up for reprising her role in the Emmy award-winning show Mad Men.

The drama, which began 15 years ago and ended after a seven-season run, featured Shipka as Sally Draper, daughter of Don (Jon Hamm) and Betty Draper (January Jones).

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "I'm not done with Sally. I don’t think she'd be in New York. I think she'd do LA… But I’m not done with her at all."

Shipka played the role throughout her childhood and into her teenage years and explained that she is still close to Hamm who played her onscreen dad.

"I always love seeing him, I've run into him so much lately," she continued, "We speak like adults now. It's great."

Despite Shipka's enthusiasm, the likelihood of a spin-off and return is extremely low. In 2019, Hamm said: "I don't think the desire is there from the executive standpoint down. I think we were all pretty happy with how the story ended.

"I don't think there's anyone in the cast that wanted to spin it off or revisit it. I don't think [creator] Matthew Weiner wants to either. He's pleased with how he finished up that chapter."

Back in 2015 Lionsgate TV COO Sandra Stern specifically addressed Sally's potential in a modern day spin-off.

"Given the fact that [Mad Men] ends nearly 50 years ago, most of the characters would be dead, Sally was the one character young enough that you could see her 30 or 40 years later."

But whether it will actually manifest, we'll have to wait and see.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina seasons 1-4 are streaming now on Netflix.
