Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has revealed more about what fans can expect from the highly-anticipated film expected to wrap the story up.
Although Tommy (Cillian Murphy) and Arthur Shelby (Paul Anderson) have been confirmed for the movie, the rest of the cast remains elusive.
In an interview with Esquire, Knight said: "In series six we're bringing in the new generation, and they are going to be part of what happens in [the] film. I think it's finding those actors that you just watch and you think, there you go. There's the future.
"The film, I know exactly what it's about. And I know what two stories it's going to tell. How the story will unfold, I don't know. What will happen after that, I want that to depend on the film. For all we know somebody is going to pop out – I think I know who it's going to be," Knight added cryptically.

Knight's vision for the future was supported by series six director Anthony Byrne, who said: "Steve wants to do a spin-off show featuring younger Peakies who we might see potentially coming to London and causing havoc and maybe getting involved with other gangs."

New regular Ada Shelby (Sophie Rundle) also told Digital Spy: "I really love playing Ada, and I really love this world that I'm in. As for life after it? Who knows. I think it's just something to explore as and when it comes up."

"So I'm really proud to have seen it through, and to have that there, and to have Ada's journey there. And whatever happens next, we'll see," she concluded.
Meanwhile, Harry Kirton, who plays a young Finn Shelby, also addressed his potential future, saying: "I'm keen to do it, but… I don't want to tarnish the lovely painting that has been painted by Cillian and the older gents and Steven himself. I would hate to come out with some half-quality sequel – not on their side, but potentially on my side.
"Not that I'm doubting myself, but I just don't want to step on anyone's toes. Even though it would be a lot of fun. With all due respect, I can't wait to move on."
Peaky Blinders series 6 airs on Sundays at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
