Anthony Fleming, who plays JP Gibbs in Power Book IV: Force, has shared his thoughts about the prospect of his character joining forces with Tommy Egan in the latest episode.
Episode 6 saw JP ask Tommy (Joseph Sikora) to join his drug game. Tommy, however, is reluctant to have JP involved. When the actor sat down for an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Fleming discussed whether he thinks Tommy will warm up to the idea of having JP as part of the game.

"Well, you know, Tommy is someone we know," he said. "He has to trust the people that are around him, especially when it comes to his business. Family is one thing. But when it comes to his business, we all know, just from the history of Tommy, he has to trust you, or you're not going to be around him."
When asked whether he's not going to be around, the actor continued: "You're not going to be around – period, right? Exactly. He's going to cancel on you.
"But if Tommy decides to let JP— that's the decision Tommy is going to have to make, to keep JP safe, possibly. You know, do I push him away from me, or do I pull him closer to me? Which is the best way to keep him safe?

"We all know that Tommy, like I said before, is always craving that family connection, as is JP. And they have a shared history.
"JP could prove to be a very valuable asset to Tommy. We just have to wait and see how that plays out," Fleming concluded ominously.
