James Bond's Gemma Arterton and The Good Place's Kirby Howell-Baptiste have joined the cast of Disney+ outing Culprits, an upcoming heist series from I Care A Lot writer-director J Blakeson.

They're not the only ones that have recently signed on for the project, either. According to Deadline, news of their involvement revealed that The Insult's Kamel El Basha, newcomer Tara Abboud, Ned Dennehy (Good Omens), Kevin Vidal (Strays), Deceit's Niamh Algar and Eddie Izzard have also come aboard.

The latest additions join Generation's Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, who was confirmed to be playing protagonist Joe when the show was announced as one of Disney vertical Star's debut UK originals last year.

While production kicked off this week, little is known about the plot, other than the fact that it centres on a group of criminals who discover that they're being offed one-by-one by a killer, after having gone their separate ways.

With details as to who Howell-Baptiste is playing still under wraps, the publication stated that Arterton will star as Dianne, a member of the crew.
