Squid Game spoilers follow.
Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has responded to criticism over the show's conclusion, admitting that he "wouldn't change" the ending.
The record-breaking Netflix series, which has been the talk of the town since it launched last month and hit 111 million viewers in its first 28 days, follows a group of debt-ridden competitors in a deadly series of children's games.
However, one famous star who isn't entirely convinced by how things were wrapped up is basketball legend and Space Jam: A New Legacy star LeBron James.
Safe to say this is a final warning if you're yet to catch up on the show, as some major spoilers lie ahead.

In a video posted on Twitter (via Kyle Goon), James is caught discussing the show with Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis, where he suggests protagonist Gi-hun should "get on that f**king flight and see [his] daughter".
This of course refers to the final moments, where instead of taking his prize money after winning the game and moving abroad, Gi-hun instead decides to turn back, suggesting he will go down a path of revenge against those behind the game.
Responding to James' comments, Hwang told The Guardian: "Have you seen Space Jam 2?"
He then added: "LeBron James is cool and can say what he wants. I respect that. I'm very thankful he watched the whole series. But I wouldn't change my ending. That's my ending.
"If he has his own ending that would satisfy him, maybe he could make his own sequel. I'll check it out and maybe send him a message saying, 'I liked your whole show, except the ending'."
Of course, the ending likely sets things up for a second season, and while things haven't been officially confirmed as of yet, Hwang has confirmed "there is talk".
"That's inevitable because it's been such a success," he said. "I am considering it. I have a very high-level picture in my mind, but I'm not going to work on it straight away.
"There's a film I really want to make. I'm thinking about which to do first. I'm going to talk to Netflix."
Squid Game season 1 is streaming now on Netflix.
