Ragnarok star Herman Tømmeraas has revealed the show cut an incest scene that was dubbed "too much".
The actor plays Fjor in the Netflix series, which dropped its second season back in May and, speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Tømmeraas revealed he filmed a scene in season 1 that saw Fjor kiss his sister.
However, the scene ultimately ended up on the cutting room after being considered "too much, too early" by other members of production.

"In season 1, we were supposed to play a lot more with the idea that the Jutuls are equals, that they're not really a mother and a father and a daughter and a son," Tømmeraas told Digital Spy.
"They're more four individuals that are bound to live together because they're on the same team, but they have no relations whatsoever actually.

"So in season 1, we did a scene – it's one of the first scenes – where Synnøve [Macody Lund] is sitting among them, and she's just introducing everyone, right? Around that time, we did a scene where I'm going across the whole place, over to my sister, where she's staying with her friends. And I'm saying, 'Hey, let's go.' And then I'm kissing her on the mouth. And she was literally kissing me back. And then we just leave [laughs].
"That was a thing we did. That was a scene we shot. But I think it looked so weird on so many levels, because Synnøve said, 'Yeah, they're brother and sister.' And then it just happened.

"I thought it was brilliant. But production, I think they felt like it was a bit too much, too early. They didn't really want to give it away that early. They're probably saving something like that."
The anecdote follows Tømmeraas previously revealing a "weird" season 2 change that Ragnarok fans may have missed.
Ragnarok seasons 1 and 2 are now available to watch on Netflix.
