The BBC are truly gifting us today. Not only have they released the jam-packed Christmas Day schedule for BBC One, but they finally confirmed when Dracula, the new project from Sherlock creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, will air.

BBC One's official Twitter account confirmed that "a three day reign of terror, starts 1st January".

Yup, three bumper-long episodes over three nights. Great for those of you who are impatient and don't want to wait. Less great for those of you who wanted to watch series 2 of ITV's Bancroft with Sarah Parish on broadcast.

Which will you watch (and tweet) live, and which will you catch up on?

As well as the series itself, there will be a documentary called In Search of Dracula which will see Mark Gatiss explore the history of the real-life Count and the various on-screen interpretations of the character.
