Taskmaster star Ed Gamble has given his verdict on the show's big move to Channel 4.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the series would be moving from Dave to the terrestrial channel for its forthcoming tenth series in 2020.
And, during a Reddit AMA on Sunday (November 24), reigning Taskmaster series 9 champion Ed Gamble was asked his opinion on the big move.
The short answer is: he thinks it's great.

"Dave did such an amazing job – from commissioning the show to promoting it and letting them have artistic freedom," he wrote.

"But nobody can deny that any opportunity for the show to be seen by more people is anything other than great."
During the AMA, Ed also revealed he would love to take part in a second run of the Taskmaster Champion of Champions series (there was one with the series 1-5 winners), but that he hasn't heard anything about one yet.
"They have told me nothing!" he added.

"I would love to do it of course, despite being fairly confident that if I was paired with [series 8 winner Lou Sanders] I would explode."
Get on it, Channel 4.
