For the few of you out there who may not know about this already, British national treasure Sir David Attenborough has gone global with a new nature docu-series on Netflix.
Our Planet dropped on the streaming service last Friday (April 5), and its footage is capable of both breaking your heart and also warming your soul.
The show is described as an ambitious and ground-breaking series that will showcase the planet's most precious species and fragile habitats, with trailers adding that Our Planet is "global event that reminds us we're all on one team".

And, as ever, the 92-year-old naturalist offers a dramatic look at the natural world in all its glory.
Created in partnership with the world's leading conservation organisation WWF, footage has been collected over four years, with over 600 members of crew filming in 50 countries across all the continents of the world to capture amazing sights on Earth in ways they've never been seen before, from the Arctic wilderness to the diverse jungles of South America.
Among other things, the series documents glaciers breaking away from the ice fields of Greenland – notably, this is now happening twice as fast as it was 10 years ago, according to Attenborough himself – and the impact it has on sea levels and the food chain.
Elsewhere, the series also highlights all manner of animals, including polar bears, whales, dolphins, hunting dogs, dancing manakin birds and flamingos doing what they do best in their natural surroundings.

Following an Our Planet binge over the weekend, fans of Attenborough's work took to social media to reflect on what they'd been watching, calling it both "beautiful" and "so important".
And, of course, there were a few segments from the show that struck a particular chord with viewers, from the Walrus scenes, to that baby flamingo – and be warned, there may be some spoilers in the tweets ahead:
