It’s farewell to Vanessa, but another eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house led to another astounding figure raised for Comic Relief.

In only 24 hours of voting, £109,000 has been raised, bringing the total amount to £224,000. The departure of a second housemate proved to be another taxing event for the housemates. As the time for the announcement of the second eviction drew close, Jack and Vanessa prepared themselves for the public’s decision.

Vanessa appeared convinced that she would be the one to go, but she settled for a fresh application of make-up and a brave face. On the other hand Jack disappeared to the bedroom and he re-emerged wearing his overcoat and flat cap, dragging his suitcase, obviously prepared for the worst.

With the clock ticking down, an uncomfortable silence descended on the group. Keith suggested a game of cards but there were no takers, everyone was too tense.

As Big Brother announced that Vanessa was to next to leave the House, she told the group: “It’s been a privilege and a pleasure.??? When Vanessa finally made her emotional departure, the group chatted and mulled over the first four days in the house.

After some time, they all agreed that they were proud of their motivation for taking part in the Celebrity Big Brother experience and stood in a circle to slap each other on the back.

Celebrity Big Brother is a Bazal Production for Channel 4, Comic Relief and the BBC.
