While most of us have to wait till August 11 to get our hands on the OnePlus 2, customers in the company's homeland have already nabbed the first batch of stock.

China is the only place where the so-called 'flagship killer' can be bought without going through an invitation process, and stock sold out within 64 seconds when it was released there today (August 4).

Writing on Weibo, OnePlus said that it managed to ship 30,000 units during the on-sale period.

The next round of sales in the country will be available at 10am local time on August 11 - the same day global sales kick off.

Of course, global stock is also limited and has almost two million signed up to the invite waiting list.
