Sony appears to be making a play for the mid-range smartphone market with the launch of an attractive new handset called the Xperia C5 Ultra.
The device's manual has been leaked online by rumours website Xperiablog, shedding light on its striking design.
The phone appears to include a bezel-free design, with a display that runs edge to edge, and a selfie camera that is backed up by a flash.
Under the hood, the Xperia C5 Ultra is said to include a MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
With a 1080p display that measures in at 5.5 inches, the handset is expected to bridge the gap between Sony's high-end phones and its current mid-rangers.
The Xperia C5 Ultra is expected to be released in August, with pricing yet to be revealed.
