Passport, check. Foreign currency, check. Selfie stick, check. You've packed the essentials and it's time for your holiday to begin - although you might want to hold off on bringing that vanity photo aid after all.
Selfie sticks have been banned from many of the world's biggest tourist destinations and events venues, and now you can see exactly where you can and can't use your Instagram-loving accessory thanks to a helpful website.
Launched by ticketing site AttractionTix, the Can I Bring My Selfie Stick website catalogues everywhere you can and can't take the photography tool.
Places on the selfie stick no-go list include Disneyland, the Emirates Stadium, the Guggenheim museum and the Hammersmith Apollo.
If you're inseparable from your telescopic camera pole, though, you'll be pleased to know you can still take the device on the London Eye, to Alton Towers and inside the Grand Canyon. Handy.
