If you're looking to upgrade your home cinema set-up this year, there's one major thing you need to buy to bring that Odeon-level experience to your living room: a projector. You can forget your 4K tellys, the cinema projector is the ultimate improvement you can make to get the silver screen at home, and they are now a little bit cheaper thanks to Amazon Prime Day.

Running until midnight on June 22, Amazon has been dropping prices on thousands of products from Echo smart speakers and headphones, to toothbrushes and games consoles, and there are a few offers on some top-end projectors to help you save money.

These deals are from some of the best brands too, from LG and Hisense, to Epson and Elephas, dropping costs by up to £3,000 in some cases. Though if you don't want to spend a lot in the first place, you can get a couple of hundred quid off some of the lower-spec models if money is tight.

Before you jump online and start buying though, you'll need to sign up to Amazon's Prime service, which gives you access to all these deals, as well as free next-day deliveries on anything you buy.

You can get a month's subscription for £7.99 or pay for the whole year up-front for £79.99 if you want. There is a 30-day free trial if you don't want to pay anything for these deals, but you'll need a unique email address to sign up. Also, be warned that you'll automatically be charged £7.99 once those 30 days are up.
