You could spend the next few days scratching your head figuring out which smartphone to splash out on, but we think Apple has made that decision pretty easy with the release of the popular iPhone 13 series.
The latest smartphones are available to buy in the UK now, with four options depending on how much you want to spend and how big you want your iPhone to be.
But which one do you get? For smaller hands or those on a budget, the iPhone 13 mini is the most affordable and smallest device for 2021, though it still comes with a lightning-fast processor and a decent display. Jump up to the standard iPhone 13, which is almost the same as the mini, but with a bigger display.
Photographers should investigate the iPhone 13 Pro, which comes with an additional lens and a silky-smooth 120Hz display that makes games and content look amazing. Finally, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is the largest and most premium device, reserved only for those who love the bigger handsets, with the triple-lens set-up, huge storage options, and next-level screen.
That's a lot of choices, and that's even before you consider all the older iPhone models that are now dropping in price to make way for the latest options, so if your budget is screaming for a cheaper monthly bill, you might want to consider some of the deals we have spotted on the iPhone 12, SE, and older.

We know retailers can be sneaky and make it look like there's a solid deal when in actuality, they've only dropped the costs by a little bit, so we're only giving you the very best deals to help you save.

While each iPhone has its set price from Apple, the various networks will be able to split costs across several months, or give you a few perks, so you'll need to decide which company you want to go with. In most cases, it's best to stick with whichever one you're already with, as you can simply upgrade your contract or move your phone number and account over to the new device.
However, there can be benefits to making the switch and sometimes the deal can be sweeter on the other side. For example, EE can give you a year's subscription to services like Apple Music or Amazon Prime Video, while Three is famous for offering unlimited data packages for lower monthly prices.
Doing your research and figuring out where you want to spend your money is vital, but we've done a bit of research to help you out below.

There are also many retailers who are offering the new handsets up-front and SIM-free. You pay for the phone in total straight away, but it then allows you to add SIM cards to customise data allowances to make it cheaper for you on your monthly bills.
Prices are as low as we have ever seen for last year's models, and if you're not interested in the iPhone 13 this could be a good chance to snag a bargain.
There will be plenty of decent deals throughout the Christmas period on many of the iPhones below, but prices are constantly changing throughout the festive period and it can be hard to keep up with the shifting tariffs. However, if you want nothing but the latest from Apple, you should keep this page tabbed for all the latest handsets once they are released.
Best iPhone 13 deals 2021
Looking for an EE deal? You can save £144 on a 40GB plan - now £77 a month and £50 upfront.
Alternatively, get an unlimited data package for all you data-hungry internet scrollers for £30 upfront and £97 a month.
Also, you can save a further £12 a month when you trade in an older iPhone, so long as it's at least as recent as an iPhone XR.
Want the more premium Pro edition of the iPhone 13 at a discount? EE's offers will help you save £12 a month on big data deals.
For example, you can get 40GB a month for £50 upfront and then £53 a month, down from £65. Though we recommend you trade in your old iPhone to get a discount.
Only got eyes for the largest of the iPhones? The Pro Max also has the trade-in offer that can shave off some money each month on your contract, receiving 40GB of data for £50 upfront and then £59 a month (down from £71).
Alternatively, jump up to an unlimited data package for £30 upfront and £77 a month, down from £89.
Three's iPhone 13 deals are great if you want to save money at the front-end of your contract, dropping the price by 50% in the first six months.
For example, you can get the 128GB iPhone 13 with unlimited data for an initial upfront cost of £49. Then, for the first six months, it will cost £31 per month, jumping up to £62 per month from month seven of the two-year deal.
You can also get cashback when you trade in your older smartphone to replace this new one, knocking a few quid off the up-front asking price or maybe reducing your monthly bills.
Fancy the bigger model? The iPhone 13 Pro can come with unlimited data for £69 upfront, and then you'll pay £35 a month for the first six months. After that, you'll pay £70 a month for the remainder of your two-year contract. This is roughly £15 cheaper monthly than the 13 Pro was from Three when it was first released back in September.
And if you need lots and lots of storage space, then the 1TB iPhone 13 Pro, with unlimited data, will cost £69 upfront, then £48 for the first six months of your two-year contract. After that, it's a monthly fee of £96.
Sky Mobile works a little differently from other networks, allowing you to pick the handset you want, and then add data, texts, and minutes into a built-for-you contract. They are always on a 24-month basis, but you can add in the choice to switch up your handset after 12 months.
The base price for the Pro model is £33 a month, though you'll be able to add the tariff you want to increase the monthly cost, all the way up to £80 a month for unlimited data.
You can get the 128GB iPhone 13 with 50GB of data for £30 upfront and a monthly cost of £46.99. That's on a 3-year handset plan and a monthly rolling airtime plan.
Meanwhile, the 512GB model with 150GB data, also on a 3-year handset plan and a monthly rolling airtime plan, will cost £30 upfront and £56.98 per month. That option also includes up to 6 months' free access to Apple Music.
Note that O2's airtime plans increase in April 2022, and that rise will also take into account the RPI rate of inflation. You can find out more here.
The iPhone 13 Pro is available from Vodafone with a range of different offers, but one of the best we have seen gets you unlimited data for £57 a month and £49 upfront.
If you'd rather get the regular iPhone 13, you can get the same unlimited data allowance for £43 a month and £29 upfront.
Need something smaller? The iPhone 13 mini is available for £40 a month and £29 upfront. If you trade in an old phone, you can drop all this down to £25 a month.
Finally, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is up for £54 a month and £49 upfront.
One of the better places to go to get a good deal on your new smartphone is Mobiles.co.uk, which finds the best offers from across the various networks.
For example, you can get the iPhone 13 with unlimited data on a two-year Vodafone contract for £39 upfront and £40 a month, which is actually cheaper than you'd find on Vodafone's website.
Or jump up to the iPhone 13 Pro on the same Vodafone package for £50 upfront and £47 a month.
Apple iPhone 13 mini with Mobiles Direct
Mobile Phones Direct, who you may have previously known as AO Mobile, have divided their iPhone 13 family options into four handy landing pages to take some of the stress out of ordering – one for the iPhone 13 Mini, one for the iPhone 13 itself, one for the iPhone 13 Pro, and finally, one for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
On each page, you can filter by your preferred network (O2, Vodafone or Three), data allowance, monthly cost and upfront cost.
The best deal we've seen on the site is for the iPhone 13 Mini and will get you 100GB of data on a 2-year Three contract for £40 a month and no up-front fee. You'll also get a three-month subscription to Apple TV+ with this offer.
You can also chop and change the amount of data, minutes, or texts, and even the network you're on to make sure you get the offer that's right for you.
Apple iPhone 13, iOS, 6.1", 5G, SIM Free, 128GB, Pink
If you just want to buy the phone outright because you've got a banging SIM-only contract already, head over to John Lewis, as it is offering decent prices on the new iPhones and the chance to get up to £300 back when you trade in your old device.
The iPhone 13 is available in the full range of colours with 256GB internal storage for £779. You also get three months' Apple TV+ for free as well.
Double the internal storage to 256GB for £799, or double it again to get the maximum storage of 512GB for £979.
Similar to the John Lewis deals above, you can head over to Currys and buy the new handsets outright for a complete up-front fee.
Though you should note that Currys currently isn't doing deliveries for these handsets so you'll have to nip in-store to pick yours up.

You can get the iPhone 12 Pro (last year's model) with 40GB of data and unlimited texts and calls for a reduced price. It's now £50 upfront (down from £70) and £57 a month (down from £67).
This offer is lasting all the way up to Christmas though, so if you're in the market for a slightly older handset this could be the one for you.
We're always after more data on our contracts, and if you just want an unlimited amount to browse the internet on the go, then this offer from EE might be worth it. You get uncapped data, texts and calls for £30 upfront and £54 a month.
