PlayStation has announced the free games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium on February 20, 2024.
As a reminder, the Extra tier of Sony's subscription allows access to a large library of PS5 and PS4 games to download to your consoles. Premium expands that library with remasters and emulated titles and lets you stream most of those games to consoles and PCs. Just like movie/TV services, games get cycled in and out.
Leading the pack for Extra this month is Need for Speed Unbound (PS5/PS4), the latest entry in the long-running racing series from 2022.
What to Read Next
Burnout developer Criterion returned for this one, and similarly to the beloved Burnout Paradise, this one allows you to drive around an open world.

Get the police's attention to raise your reputation in the street racing world, but try not to get arrested, as that'll cause you to lose respect quicker than going from 0 to 60.
From the team behind Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment, The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition (PS5) is another big title.
This is a first-person RPG set in space with plenty of planets, moons and space stations to explore — plus tonnes of dialogue and narrative choices to let you pen your own story in the stars.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla (PS5/PS4) returns to PS Plus this month, allowing players to enter the vast digital recreation of Norway and England in the Viking Age and stab and slash their way to glory.
Two more LEGO games also join the service: LEGO Worlds (PS4) and LEGO Jurassic World (PS4).
There are two indie games joining Extra this month, and they're both roguelikes with the word 'rogue' in the title.
Roguebook (PS5/PS4) combines random mechanics with a deck-building system designed with the involvement of the creator of Magic: The Gathering. Meanwhile, Rogue Lords (PS4) features a load of famous faces from horror, such as Dracula and the Headless Horseman.

The Tales series of JRPGs is also well-represented this month, with 2015's Tales of Zestiria (PS4) and 2021's Tales of Arise (PS5/PS4) joining Extra and remastered versions of Tales of Vesperia (PS4) and the series' most iconic entry Tales of Symphonia (PS5/PS4) coming to Premium.
Rounding out February's Premium additions are PS1 hoverbike racer Jet Moto 2 and PSP shooter Resistance: Retribution, which is possibly the most fan-favourite entry in Sony's alien invasion series.
