While we're usually champions of having chocolate in and around our mouths at all times, it's a different kind of Easter egg that's grabbed our attention this year – a cheese one.
So you can keep your Cadbury (actually maybe we'll have both) because Asda is really bringing home the bacon dairy, after launching a solid cheese Easter egg for all your cheesy fantasies.
The Cheester Egg is half egg-shaped cheese, half condiment product, offering an entire cheeseboard, ahem, egg-sperience (sorry), with crumbly mini oatcake crackers and a sachet of sweet and sticky caramelised onion chutney to go alongside the Blacksticks Blue Cheese. Yum.
The dream, right? Speaking about the creation, Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses' James Clapham said: "We're a nation of cheese fanatics, so we know consumers will love the Cheester Egg. It's an unexpected yet delicious twist on a traditional Easter favourite, and we can't wait for Asda customers to enjoy our handmade quality blue cheese."
