The beef (literally) between Android and iPhone users went up a notch this weekend, after someone pointed out a glaring issue with Google's burger emoji.
Depending on your point of view, the emoji for the burger on Google phones is all out of whack – with the cheese in completely the wrong position. As in, it's UNDER the patty.

And what started out as a tweet about the differences sparked something close to all-out Twitter war when Google's CEO responded to the initial tweet to say he would right the wrong.
"Will drop everything else we are doing and address on Monday:)," Sundar Pichai wrote. "If folks can agree on the correct way to do this!"

Well, asking the people of the internet to agree on something is like asking for the ocean to part… particularly when that argument involves very passionate iPhone vs very strong-minded Android owners.
Some pointed out that neither are actually correct. While most agreed that the cheese should be placed on top of the bun for optimal melting opportunity, some were offended by the choice of lettuce under the burger patty.
Who knew people felt so strongly about burger arrangement?
Anyway, since it's now Monday – i.e. deadline day for Google – we may soon finally find out what the perfect burger emoji should really look like.
