We've all seen MTV's show Catfish, so we're all aware that the people we chat to on dating apps and sites might not always be exactly who they say they are. But what we're not quite so used to is the idea that it might be our pictures that could be pinched and used to fool other people into a catfish-type situation.
That's exactly what happened to Jessica Hunt from Plymouth, after she discovered a picture of herself on someone else's Tinder profile. But there was something odd about the picture - someone else's face had been Photoshopped onto Jessica's body. And they've done a pretty good job of it.
Jessica posted about the unusual situation on Twitter, writing: "OH MY GOD that is my body and my house but who's face is that!?!? Catfish game is getting silly."
And if you look closely, you can see the skin tone on the face is a little different to that of Jessica's body.
A scroll back through Jessica's Instagram page - where she has 80,000 followers - proves the face has been superimposed on the image, with the original picture having been uploaded just after Christmas last year.
Yup, that's a pretty new, subtle way to catfish, isn't it? Make sure you zoom into those online dating pictures from now on to check for any Photoshop giveaways.
