There's no doubt that PayPal has made paying for things online easier, but there are people hard at work making the process even quicker.
PayPal is developing a technology which can be embedded, injected and ingested - replacing passwords as a means of identification.

The company's global head of developer evangelism, Jonathan Leblanc, told the Wall Street Journal: "If there's a weak password you need to harden that with something physical behind it.
"We're looking at new techniques."
These techniques could take the form of ingestible capsules that live in your stomach - powered by stomach acid - and detect glucose levels or other unique internal features.
Although PayPal is working with partners to help develop the tech, this doesn't mean it is thinking of adopting it any time soon.
Leblac stated that the company hopes to be seen as a "thought leader".
