The Sims 4 fans have managed to spot a Wednesday reference in the video game's Life & Death expansion.
The upcoming expansion's trailer, which was released yesterday (October 3), follows a Sim as she decides to live life to the fullest following the death of a loved one.
At the 1:43 mark, as she's ticking off another item from her bucket list by reconnecting with family, the Sim is seen doing what looks like the viral dance from Netflix's Wednesday series.

The viral dance in question saw Jenna Ortega's titular character dance to the song 'Goo Goo Muck' by The Cramps at the Nevermore school dance, which the actor choreographed herself.
The reference wasn't missed by fans, with one writing on X: "The little Wednesday type dance the Sim was doing in the trailer was enough for me to pay for the pack, because as someone who makes mainly alternative/gothic Sims, that's all I want in life is to live through them."

"The thing I loved the most in the trailer was that haircut with bangs and Wednesday dance," wrote another.

A third posted a clip of the two dances side-by-side, commenting: "NOW WAIT A SEC! I NEED TO SEE THE FULL CHOREO OF THAT DANCE ANIMATION."
Despite the dance's popularity, Ortega later admitted she "stays awake at night thinking about" it because she thinks she could have done it better.
"Some of the moves I had planned, some of it was [improvised]. That was one of the scenes that I stay awake at night thinking about," she said last year.
"There was so much I could have done and should have done. So, the fact that anyone has shown any appreciation or even tried it themselves is unfathomable to me."
The Sims 4 Life & Death is out on October 31 on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.
