First details of The Sims 4's next expansion have been revealed, and the Grim Reaper is paying a visit.
The team released a new roadmap teasing upcoming content up to the end of the year, calling the next few months the season of 'To Be Continued'.
The most eye-catching tease is confirmation of the newest full expansion pack, which is titled Life and Death.

The expansion will see players "embark on an endless journey through life and beyond", while the fan-favourite Grim Reaper character will "make an appearance".
Fittingly, the pack has been given an October 31 release date (Halloween).

The first official look will be unveiled on October 3.
That's not the only thing revealed in the roadmap. We have two new Kits arriving on September 19: Storybook Nursery Kit and Artist Studio Kit.
Storybook Nursery Kit promises to focus on babies, while Artist Studio Kit is a build kit that gives Simmers more options to build a retreat for creative Sims looking for inspiration.
On September 24, there will be a Reaper's Rewards base-game event, where Simmers can earn free items. More information on what players will have to do will be shared closer the time.
It might be similar to the limited-time Happy at Home Login Event that was rolled out in May.
That event came with a new hairstyle, trait, and items including a dartboard, pillow, bar, and vending machine, though some players were unhappy that they were only available to claim for a few weeks.
Finally, the season will feature a number of free updates.

The last expansion to launch for The Sims 4 was Lovestruck back in July. The love-themed pack enhanced gameplay for dating and romantic relationships.
Meanwhile, last week saw confirmation of MySims and MySims Kingdom being re-released on Nintendo Switch as part of a bundle.
MySims: Cozy Bundle has been scheduled for a November 19 launch.
