Lenovo has launched a pair of brand new smartphones, the Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2.
Designed to make up a brand new range of mobile devices for the brand, they feature next-generation, top-of-the-line processors to tackle the competition.
It has an 8-core MediaTek MT6595 processor in the X2 and a 64-bit Qualcomm unit in the Vibe Z2. A special 'Vibe Xtension' version will add 5.1mm of depth to the devices but also increase battery life.
The X2 uses a 5-inch 1080p screen and will come in multiple colours. The rest of the spec sheet is fairly standard fare with a 13-megapixel camera and a wide-angle 5-megapixel setup on the front.
The Z2 is the slightly less premium offering and uses a 5.5-inch 720p screen. It is also Dual SIM capable.
The devices are set for release in October. UK pricing is still TBC.
