The summer sun may still be blazing but it's never too early for some festive Pokémon kit.
The Pokémon Company is kicking off the season a bit earlier than usual this year with the Holiday Calendar 2022 card game, loaded with special gifts and accessories for trainers of all skill levels.
In total, you'll get a pair of sticker sheets with various Pokémon, two flip coins, eight foil promo cards with their own festive stamps – including a pair of Pokémon Vs and a Pokémon VMAX.

You'll also get to beef up your stable with Pokémon Trading Card Game booster packs, three card Fun Packs, a sidekick dangler and a code card giving you access to the card game's online hub.
Of course, you'll also get the joy of counting down the next year with all of your Pokémon, inside a festive case that looks like a holiday candle box.
The calendar box is decorated with some of the beloved Pokémon, including Pikachu and Delibird having a snowball fight, and it's pretty adorable.
The Pokémon TCG: Holiday Calendar for 2022 is available for pre-order from Zavvi for £44.99, with the product scheduled to ship out on September 2, 2022.

It's been a pretty exceptional week for Pokémon players, as Scarlet and Violet unveiled the newbie Fidough. He's like a combo of a dog and a buttered bread loaf or bagel.
