The Sims 4 has given a strong hint that werewolves, fairies and zombies are being considered for the game.
During the latest Inside Maxis stream earlier today (August 3), two members of the team Ash and SimGuruGeorge answered a number of fan questions, and one concerned the possibility of more occults.
We've had vampires, spellcasters, aliens and mermaids, but The Sims 3 also featured werewolves and fairies as well as zombification.

When addressing whether The Sims 4 fans can expect to see these occults in some form, Ash teased: "Maybe. Maybe. Maybe, we'll see.
"We definitely hear the occult fans' strong desire for werewolves and fairies and zombies in The Sims 4. We can't confirm at this time when they'll make their way into the game, but we would want to put as much love and thoughtfulness into them as we did for vampires and for spellcasters.
"We really focus on them a lot when we do them and make sure that they're great."
Interestingly, that's "when they'll make their way" into The Sims 4, not "if" – although any plans still appear to be a way off.

Ash continued by offering a hint at what's coming in the near future, suggesting that the development team is going back and updating an old Game Pack.
"For now, our roadmap continues to be focused on improving content that's in the game," she said. "That said, stay tuned, prepare your Sims for a relaxing refresh of one of our existing Game Packs coming up soon.
"So that's really exciting, too."
If "relaxing" is a clue, then the Game Pack in question could be Spa Day or Outdoor Retreat, both of which were first released all the way back in 2015. Incidentally, we really liked Spa Day when it came out, so the possibility of further value being added to the pack sounds great to us.
The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
