Elly encourages Bea to apply for the apprenticeship position at Mark's garage. Mark catches Bea out when she fibs about her previous experience, but when he sees how much Elly longs for a second chance with her sister, Mark offers her the job anyway.

Back home with Finn, Bea is conflicted and unsure if she can manage the commitment. Finn promises he'll be there to support her, as we learn he's using a wheelchair. Is this real, or another Finn mind game?

Meanwhile, Amy struggles without Jimmy around and everyone is keen to keep her spirits up. Aaron and David convince her to make use of a voucher to the Retreat.

Elsewhere, Karl and Susan meet with Rita and learn her true plan. She wants Karl to support her instigating a series of experimental MS treatment trials at the hospital. Karl ultimately turns down Rita's offer, as he's promised his wife he'll take a break from work to aid his own recovery. But Susan is left intrigued and finds herself researching the MS trials.
