Nicolette reveals that a group of residents, led by Moira, have been holding serious meetings at Harold's Café. Karl suspects they are planning a lawsuit against Eirini Rising as a result of the gas leak, which is confirmed in no uncertain terms by Moira.
Realising that Moira is keen on Harold's friendship, Karl and Susan enlist their old friend to convince Moira to dissuade the residents from taking legal action. Harold succeeds and gently helps Moira realise that her motivations for pursuing the lawsuit stem more from loneliness than genuine grievance.
