Sonya is disappointed when she is blanked by Chris, but she remains hopeful that Patricia will come clean to him about her problems. Soon afterwards, Sonya spots an edgy Patricia hurrying out of the antique shop and senses that something is wrong. Patricia claims that she almost sold some possessions to gamble but stopped herself. Sonya wants her to come to the GA meeting today.

Later, an agitated Patricia turns up at the GA meeting. CCTV footage from the antique shop reveals her stealing a watch and Matt arrests her. Chris finds out and is stunned when his mother admits that she is an addict. Chris takes it out on Sonya, accusing her of hypocrisy. Sonya fears that she let Patricia down.

Meanwhile, Bailey is stressing because Josie M wants him to arrange a date. Taking Bailey 'under his wing', Callum suggests they double date - their girlfriends might become friends. The date begins awkwardly until the girls have fun playing a video dance game. The boys are stoked and the Josies persuade the boys to try. Despite their reluctance, male egos kick in and competitiveness takes over. They childishly try to sabotage each other, which initially amuses the girls but they grow bored and neglected. After Callum causes Bailey to fall over, they realise the girls have left. The double date is an epic fail.

Elsewhere, Josh's shoulder pain grows worse as he and Amber mess around in the pool. He hides it but snaps unnecessarily at Amber.
