They talk through their issues, and Kiri admits she doesn't want another dad – she wants Glen to be her friend. Grateful, he tells her he wants that too.
Meanwhile, Terese learns Sapiko & Bazz Holdings has gone bust and smells a rat. Thanks to Byron, Toadie finds out Paul used the company to hide money from Terese. She's furious, but tries to stay focused – all she needs now is proof.
Elsewhere, on the surface, Mackenzie appears to be handling her grief. She graciously accepts a letter from an emotional Sadie, and offers support to those around her. In private, however, she destroys the letter and lets her pain out. She's not coping as well as everyone thinks.
