As a broken Chloe confesses about her drunken night with Leo, Nicolette is devastated.
Chloe's betrayal is made unbearably worse when Nicolette learns David and Aaron have been lying to her for days in order to hide Chloe's doubts. Nicolette's world is crumbling in front of her eyes.
When Paul finds out what's going on, he's afraid that David and Leo's relationship could wind up in tatters. He misguidedly takes it out on Nicolette, making sure she knows she is still expected to follow through on the original plan with the baby.
Devastated Nicolette is left feeling not only heartbroken but rejected by the family she's so desperately longed to be a part of. When Chloe finally finds Leo, they rush to tell Nicolette the truth about last night. But it's too late.
