Neighbours teen Emmett Donaldson lies to his foster family next week as he faces pressure to fit in among his peers.
Emmett (Ezra Justin) covers for troublesome newcomer Louis Curtain after a classroom at Erinsborough High gets completely trashed.
The drama starts as Emmett is forced to work hard during the school holidays, knowing that he'll have to repeat Year 8 if he doesn't catch up with the other students.
To give Emmett a break from the dull side of schoolwork, Shaun Watkins (Brad Moller) offers to take him into Erinsborough High to do some lab work, knowing that he'll find this more exciting.
After an interesting morning, Emmett takes a break from study and runs into bad boy Louis, who's played by Stefan Dennis's real-life son Declan Dennis.

Louis is nasty to Emmett, but changes his attitude when he hears that Emmett has access to the empty school.
All of a sudden, Louis mysteriously wants to hang out with Emmett, who's pleased to finally be making a friend.
Later, Shaun and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) are horrified to walk in on Emmett in a trashed classroom at the school.
Louis has fled from the scene just before their entrance, narrowly managing to avoid being caught red-handed.

Although Shaun and David are aware that there was another boy in the room, they're disappointed as Emmett takes the blame for everything.
Deep down, Shaun, David and Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) all strongly suspect that Emmett wouldn't have done this, but there's not much they can do unless he changes his story.
Later, Emmett is pleased as he earns himself street cred with the other kids for taking the blame. Will this open the door to a troublesome friendship?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, July 21 and Wednesday, July 22 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
