Claudia remains busy with Sam, laying the groundwork for a custody battle. She's aware of the conflict at Number 28 and thinks the time may nearly be right to play her final card.
Meanwhile, Paul remains obstinate in the face of David's ultimatum and Harlow's disapproval. With David refusing to back down, and Harlow staying at Number 24, the family is in ruins. Terese tries to keep the peace, telling Harlow that Paul was taking care of a struggling Susan when he failed to deliver her assignment the other day. Knowing the truth, can Harlow forgive her grandfather?
Elsewhere, Mackenzie is feeling uncertain about her future, and is eager to get advice from Susan – but when Mackenzie catches Susan at the wrong moment, it results in a public blow-up that leaves them both reeling.
